Christmas Party Over... Here Comes Christmas!

I'm sitting here tonight after sleeping and napping most of the day watching The 12 Men of Christmas on Lifetime and enjoying some left over mulled wine from the party! I'm working on a few plans for our trip to LA over Christmas and basking in the success of last night's party! It was great!!! Even the owner of my company came with his wife along with most of our friends and close work colleagues.

It's going to be a busy few weeks ahead and I'm excited about it! Friday is my company's annual holiday luncheon and if it's anything like last year's its going to go well into the evening! FUN! Saturday I have a much needed and overdue hair appointment and that night we're heading off to Mr. Julep's company party. I'm a little miffed that's it's a 60's/70's/80's dress up party and we're short on costumes, but we'll figure it out! And then it's just one more weekend before we jet off to LA for Christmas!!! While we're going to miss our families, we're super excited about a vacation and getting off this island!!!

I'm looking forward to our hotel, the Le Montrose! Looks gorgeous on the internet and if you read my blog much, you know I'm a sucker for a chic hotel!!!

The rooftop pool! NICE!!!

Recent patrons of the Le Montrose include Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene! YAY TWILIGHT!!! I hope they come back while I'm there and Bring R-Patz! I'll be sure to have the mistletoe handy for sure!!!

Even though we fly out after work on a Tuesday evening and arrive in LA around midnight or 1am. I have every intention of waking up to hit Target first thing on Wednesday morning at about 8am!!!

Then we're having a late breakfast at Hugo's where Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Hilary Duff have recently been spotted.

And heading to the Westside Pavillion for some SHOPPING!!!

After a full day of shopping, we'll be getting in a taxi for the VIP pre-party before we rock out with Ms. Gaga! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then we're going to head to Lola's for the 10:30pm cocktail happy hour!!!

On Christmas Eve we're going to do even more shopping, hitting Robertson Blvd. Perhaps we'll see Posh picking up something for Becks or maybe Paris and the girls out for last minute stocking stuffers!

and Melrose...

And we'll have our Christmas Eve dinner at BOA Steakhouse!

After dinner we're going to try to get a lane at Lucky Strike for some fun Christmas Eve bowling!!!

And then try to grab a cocktail or two at Bar Marmont in the Chateau Marmont Hotel!

On Christmas morning we'll order breakfast in bed and exchange stockings! We've decided not to do proper presents so we can have free reign to shop and buy our own presents while we're there, but we're big on stockings so we'll fill those up for each other in the 2 days we're there before Christmas!

And just like every year, we'll watch Regis & Kelly on the Disney Christmas morning parade!

Then we're heading to Ice at Santa Monica for some holiday skating fun!!!

Wonder if we'll see Reese, Ava & Deacon there...

And in the late afternoon as is the tradition in my family, we're going to see a movie here, at the Arclight Cinema (they have a cafe and bar inside! NICE!):

We're hoping to see NINE!

And then we'll have our Christmas dinner and plenty of glasses of Christmas cheer in our hotel restaurant, Privato! It's only open to hotel guests so I hope it's good!

And then, THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!!! BRING ON THE SALES cause we're heading down to the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica for a full day's shopping!

And then to Rodeo Drive

For drinks at Bar Nineteen 12

In the fabulous Beverly Hills Hotel!!!! I die!
And dinner at KOI! (This is the restaurant I'm most looking forward to!)

Sunday we're getting up early for a 9am breakfast at Hash in the Erwin Hotel on Venice Beach!

Where we plan to spend the rest of the day bumming around and taking in the atmosphere! Apparently on Sundays there's a rooftop bar where you can play Twister! Might check that out!

And then Sunday evening we're taking a sunset horse ride up to the Hollywood sign! I'm very excited about this!!!

And then dinner at JAR!
On our last day in LA we're starting out with breakfast at the Fred Segal Mauro cafe.

And then we're heading to The Grove for one last day of shopping...

And our final dinner at The Farm of Beverly Hills!

As you can see, we have an exciting holiday season ahead of us and I have a lot of google maps to print out! If anyone knows of anything that's AMAZING in LA that we've missed in our itenerary, let me know! And if any of you live in the Los Angeles area and want to meet up with us at one of these spots, send me an e-mail! I'd love to meet ya!
Pink Julep!

  1. Sounds like a divine trip! Can't wait for your posts after you get back!! xoxo

  2. Your trip sounds amazing. I live in LA and you are hitting all the hotspots for sure. One tip, if you do go to the Arclight make sure to buy your tickets days in advance. Movies in LA sell out super fast, especially there. Last time I was at the Arclight bar I saw Allison Sweeney from Biggest Loser, The Waynes Brothers and Brittany Daniels (yes, I am dating myself with the Sweet Valley High reference!) Have an amazing time!!

  3. I am SOOO excited for you! Your plan sounds so fun. KOI is on my top 3 list of restaurants in LA, it's so yummy. I wouldn't really recommend the westside pavillion, it's not a very nice mall ...Century City would be more fun, then you could grab a drink at Pink Taco where the margs and chips are TDF! Safe travels!

  4. Wow! That sounds like a wonderful trip. Hope you have a safe and relaxing trip!

  5. Hey Pink - Thanks for the link to my site!

I'd love to have you do some guest posts for my site - you hit lots of the places that are on my personal list of Things You Should Do.
