Pink Julep at the Cinema: Bright Star

I just saw Bright Star, which I only rented because I'd seen everything else and it stars Ben Wishaw who I totally love! He's one of the greatest young actors of our time in my opinion and you might recognize him from I'm Not There or Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised! This is a beautifully done film about the romance between poet John Keats (Wishaw) and his neighbor, Franny Brawne (Abby Cornish). It's wildly entertaining and informative, filled with beatiful scenes of the English countryside and lovely poetry all the way through! Anyone who loves the Jane Austin films would certainly love Bright Star. I know I did!

Pink Julep!
