Wild Child

I was beyond delighted over the weekend when hubby came home with the first of many September issues that will soon be mine and Jennifer Lopez is looking fierce on the cover of Glamour in animal print! I love animal prints and they will be a prominent trend this Fall! Everything from cheetah to zebra to snake skin will be huge so we'd all best get ready to embrace our wild sides!

There are so many different ways to rock this trend! As with any trend, I wouldn't recommend spending a month's rent on animal print items because inevitably they will be unwearable in a few years, but if you must, don't feel bad... just store them properly in a cool dry place so that you can wear them as vintage when this comes around again!

This trend can totally work for the office if done correctly as seen below:

Go with a conservative cut and classic accessories and you'll be praised by even the most prudish of co-workers!

Wearing a great leopard print dress can give you the courage to mismatch your handbag with your shoes... go for black shoes and a brown bag or vice versa!

Not brave enough to wear a wild printed dress? That's easy... go for basic black and wear the print on your shoes!

Or add pizazz to a low-key outfit made up of basics by carrying a fabulous animal print bag!

Animal prints can be amazing for evening, but I warn you... it's a thin line between chic and tacky! Anything that's too tight, low-cut or covered in sparkles and beads is going to be ALL WRONG! Step away from it because you will regret those photos in no time! But if you chose a flattering, flowy cut with an interesting neckline and accessorize it appropriately, you can be the eye of the tiger!

There are so many other ways to wear this trend. You can do something as simple as a zebra print belt with a black outfit or as bold as leopard print tights under a sexy mini! How do you plan to wear animal prints this Fall?
