Bill Blass Goes Nautical for Spring 2012

For Spring 2012, Bill Blass served up a hot new modern twist on an old faithful favorite, the nautical look. The entire collection is sea-inspired and the co our palette is familiar. This is one of my favorite collections that I've seen from fashion month so far... The concept is a classic favorite of mine, but the execution appeals to my modern fashionista sensibilities.

This coat is to die for!

Monochromatic looks in bright reds and yellows stole the show for me! I love e way most of see pieces can be mixed and matched to create different looks...

The inclusion of maxi dresses in the collection keeps it modern and on-trend.

I can't say enough about how much I adore this collection. If I was a wealthy woman, I'd Make a call and buy the entire collection! But since I'm not, I will settle for shopping for nautical-inspired pieces in the spring.

Is the classic nautical trend for Spring 2012 exciting for you, or are you sick of the tired recycled look?
