Eco Tote by Eileen Fisher for Earth Day

With Earth Day just around the corner, if you're like me, you're naturally starting to think about ways you can reduce your carbon footprint, similarly to the way I always think about losing weight the day after Christmas every year without fail.

There are lots of little adjustments we can make in our daily lives to help save the planet - things we wouldn't even really notice once we got used them, but if we all did them, we'd make a huge difference. Remember how inconvenient recycling seemed in 1985? It's like second nature to most of us now!

Eco is chic and more so now than ever before with celebs such as Stella McCartney, Natalie Portman, Alicia Silverstone and Livia Firth using their star power to encourage the public to take more action in the preservation of our beautiful planet.

The folks at Eileen Fisher are doing their part for Earth Day this year, selling this fabulous modern Eco Tote in store at Covent Garden and Marylebone High Street starting tomorrow until 30th April. The totes are £8 and all proceeds will be donated to WAGE (Women and the Green Economy) to aid in their promotion of relevant national initiatives that promote a green economy, secure educational and employment opportunities for women and channel green investment for the benefit of women.

If you're in the Marylebone or Covent Garden area this weekend, stop by Eileen Fisher and pick up a cute Eco Tote or two... It's for a good cause and it's a lot cuter than the Waitrose bag you've been carrying your shopping in!

What steps have you taken recently to reduce your carbon footprint?
