Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque

Several months ago, I was given a sample of the Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque - I soon forgot about it after putting it in a drawer, but I recently found it and decided to give it a try!

I suffer from chronically dry skin, especially on my forehead, elbows, knees - all the usual suspects - since I moved to London. I'm a face masque junkie and always looking for different ways to improve the quality of my skin!

The Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque comes in the form of a gel and is completely void of colour or scent, something I love in a skincare product. No artificial colours is alright by me! The gel is light and I found if the skin is dry, it soaks it right up, so I had to kind of use a lot.

I have to say, I quite like this masque as an easy - no fuss alternative to some of the others I've been using. It's so light and easy to apply - it's even easier to wash off. I only used the masque one time, but my skin feels smoother, softer and a lot less dry than when I first put it on. I would recommend for ease to just put it on your face twice a week about 10 minutes before you shower - it's that simple!

What face masques are you loving right now?

  1. I love June Jacobs Papaya Enzyme masque. It's great. Glamglow is good too, but it is a little harder on my skin like most mud masques.

  2. I love Catastrophe Cosmetic by Lush. However, I've started using Dermalogica for my acne prone skin at the moment and it's fantastic. The ultra gentle cleanser is brilliant and the clear start moisturiser stops my make-up sliding off over the day too.
