I am a bit nervous when it comes to changing my foundation because my skin is usually so difficult to match. I've been a beauty counter victim so many times in situations where the foundation looked amazing in the store, but when I left and looked in a mirror, I realized it was either 2 shades too dark or too light. It's always an expensive and incredibly inconvenient mistake, not to mention occasionally embarrassing! Last summer I existed purely on a tinted moisturizer that was given to me as a gift from a friend - I loved it! It's a great way to beat the heat without going bare faced. When I heard that NARS released a tinted moisturizer, I knew I wanted to try it as an alternative to my NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. I'm a fan of the foundation because it's as light or as heavy as you want it to be, it gives a great glow and the coverage is amazing, but most of the time, I'm not a fan of wearing a lot of heavy make-up so this is a brilliant alternative for day-to-day wear.
Here I am wearing the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Alaska with a bit of NARS Loose Powder and some highlighting using NARS Albatross. The product is easy to apply, has great coverage and feels very light on the skin. Also, there is SPF 30 built in, which is very important, especially on hot sunny days.
I'm in love with this product and I will definitely continue using it! Do you use a tinted moisturizer? Which brand do you prefer?
