Two Lipsticks and a Lover by Helena Frith Powell

Ever wondered what makes French women so chic? That's the question British journalist Helena Frith Powell was asking when she set out to write Two Lipsticks and a Lover, a witty book that reads more like a fun magazine article than a book. Interviewing everyone from Parisian it-girl Hermine de Clermont Tonnerre to famed super model and celebrated author Ines de la Fressange to personal shoppers and pharmacy assistants, Powell tries to find what it is that makes French women so chic.

I loved this book and learned a lot about places in Paris and new things to try! It's so entertaining with little anecdotes and conversations thrown in - a very quick and fun read! I'll definitely be keeping this one as a reference!

What have you been reading lately? Anything good you'd like to recommend?
