Claudia Bradby Stella Earrings

I love a great pair of statement earrings! Within literally seconds they can up the glam factor of your look by 100% with very minimal effort! My new favorite pair of earrings are the Stella Earrings that were so kindly sent to me by the lovely people at Claudia Bradby from their beautiful Coco Collection. I wore them out for a dinner date with my husband here in Paris and I got so many compliments on them!

The Stella Earrings are made of grey agate stones and molten silver pearls! Since I'm a big fan of grey, they're the perfect new addition to my collection! The earrings aren't too heavy to be comfortable, but I'm really impressed with their quality... There's some substance to the earrings and they're really beautifully made!

Size does matter when it comes to a great pair of earrings... For me, I don't like them to be too big, but big enough to make a statement. It's a perfect fit!
The Stella Earrings are £40.50 and available on the Claudia Bradby website along with dozens of other gorgeous pieces, inlcuding the Camelia Necklace owned by the Duchess of Cambridge! Each piece ordered from Claudia Bradby comes tucked away in a gorgeous little pouch inside a beautiful box. The packaging is amazing and pieces can be shipped abroad.

Caroline Charles S/S 2013 at London Fashion Week

Caroline Charles Spring/Summer 2013 was the first catwalk show I attended at London Fashion Week.  The collection was bright, practical and featured loads of lovely, wearable pieces for day-to-day, sunny holidays and special occasions! Some of the summery prints were to die for and I especially loved the full, ball gown skirts from the last few looks. Sleek ponytails and caps finished off most of the looks with more glamorous floppy hats conjuring images of 70's glamour appearing towards the end of the show. I think we can all look forward to a very bright & colorful spring and get our GHD's out of storage... Stick straight ponytails were all over the runways of London Fashion Week!

Wolford Animalia TIghts at Bestival

Topshop Top / H&M Skirt / H&M Sequins Beret
Converse Sneakers / Ralph Lauren Sunglasses
Wolford Animalia Tights (c/o Wolford)

Bestival was about 2 weeks away, but what I've discovered is that the downfall of having so many gadgets means I'm still finding photos I forgot we had taken! Known primarily for being the festival where people dress up in themed costume, Bestival holds a parade on the Saturday. I didn't go all out, but thanks to the lovely folks at Wolford who sent over these fabulous Animalia Tights, I wasn't completely out of the loop! I can't wait to wear these fabulous tights with a cute dress or skirt and a pair of heels - they're seriously fierce!

I'm all about colored and patterned tights lately. Are you guys fans of them as well or do you like to keep it simple with your hosiery?

Fall Florals

H&M Tank / Vintage Antoni + Alison Cardigan / Brora Skirt
Uniqlo Scarf / Ralph Lauren Sunglasses

I've been in Paris for a couple of days now, but today was the first time we really ventured too far from our rental flat and we headed toward the heart of the city. I love the idea of Fall florals so I wore this Brora skirt that I bought last year. Because of it's dark colors and small print, I think it's perfect for Autumn and on-trend with florals for the season!

What do you think of Fall florals? Are you a fan or do you think they should be left to Spring & Summer?

Bright & Beautiful: Gucci S/S 2013

Milan Fashion Week is under way and one of the collections I always look forward to most is Gucci - it's always a beautiful surprise and the Spring 2013 collection is no exception! Presenting all the colors of the rainbow with complimentary prints, Gucci has nailed it! The collection is simply stunning and these are a few of my favorite looks.

London Fashion Week: Day 1 in Photos

This year I attended my very first Fashion Week here in London. It's been a whirlwind and I've learned so much about how things work in the industry, met some brilliant people and though it's been hard work, I've managed to have a bit of fun as well!

Most of London Fashion Week takes place at Somerset House where a large catwalk tent is set up in the courtyard, however there are other show spaces that are elsewhere in the city.

In addition to the catwalk space, there is also a presentation space within Somerset House and elsewhere in the venue, the exhibitions are set up, displaying the works of designers, jewelers, milliners and shoe designers for accredited press to see.

On the first day I saw two catwalk shows and one presentation - look for photos from those events later this week!

The first day of LFW was super busy and though really tough, a lot of fun! I can't wait to share the photos from the shows and presentations I went to with you!

London Fashion Week Day 4 - What I Wore

Izabel London Jumper (c/o Izabel London) / H&M Mini Skirt / Wolford Satin Chain Tights (c/o Wolford)
Coach Bag / A/X Sunglasses / Jaeger Necklace / LK Bennett Heels

London Fashion Week is nearly over. I'm now looking forward to my upcoming trip to Paris now and planning outfits accordingly for that! Last night for a few LFW events I wore the Wolford Satin Chain Tights with a new sweater from Izabel London. I was warm and so comfortable, both of which were very important to me since I seem to have caught the Fashion Flu... I love embellished tights and think they're really fun for adding something extra to an otherwise plain look.

What do you think about embellished tights? Love them or hate them?

Bestival 2012 With Echo Falls in Pictures

Earlier this month I was lucky enough to be included among a group of fantastic bloggers invited to attend Bestival with Echo Falls. It was a brilliant weekend and I had so much fun! Highlights included Florence and the Machine, Stevie Wonder, Two Door Cinema Club, dancing like hippies in the sun to Sister Sledge and Musical Bingo among many other fun things. If you've never been to a music festival before or even if you have, I highly recommend Bestival. It's fun, laid-back and the food options are amazing! Everyone on the staff was super nice and it runs like a well-oiled machine. I seriously had no complaints - it's going down in the books as one of the best weekends of my life!

One of the first acts we saw was Soulwax... They aren't really my taste, but they put on a great show!

Florence and the Machine was amazing! She has so much energy and her strong voice never falters, no matter how much she bounces around the stage!

The Echo Falls Social Boutique was a great place to hang out, listen to music, get a drink, have your face painted and just relax.

The first night was really cold and I didn't plan a costume for the fancy dress day, so I picked up this fantastic penguin onesy and I was very warm and festive for the second night!

Penguin in the Ambient Forrest!

A few of us wondered into the forrest and had a little glow stick dance party (completely sober, just slaphappy from exhaustion!) The wild posse above includes Charlie from Shopped and Dropped, Gem from A Fashionable Preoccupation and Alex from Alex Loves.

Drag Queens serving food - they were seriously pretty!

Amazing Fireworks on the last night after seeing Stevie Wonder!

Oh look! It's Aisling from Fash-ling, another bloggy pal!

I picked up these rad socks while I was there... They're so fun!

The Wagamama Lounge was also a highlight! Good, hot chicken katsu curry with amazing music played by the DJ on hand!

One of my favorite parts of the festival was Musical Bingo, which actually occurs regularly throughout the year in London, so if you're around, check them out! It's seriously fun!

It was a fantastic weekend! Be sure to check the rest of the photos on the Pink Julep Facebook page! Thanks so much to Echo Falls for having me! You were gracious hosts and I had a blast!
