LFW - Leutton Postle A/W 2013

Leutton Postle showcased for A/W 2013 via film presentation in the BFC Canon Cinema Space, a fabulous little oasis tucked inside away from the cold and the madness. I have to say, I really love the way designers are embracing film and finding new, creative ways to showcase their work.

The Leutton Postle video was colorful, fun and positively adorable. It suited the look and feel of the clothes. With fun music and models in the clothes clapping their hands and, for lack of a better word, frolicking to the beat while the actual clothing samples hung along the wall for inspection.

Leutton Postle served up metallic knits in funky mixed patterns for A/W 2013. Tiered skirts and dresses and ribbed knits in colours like black, grey, orange, turquoise and red were prevalent in the collection. The collection is youthful, a lot of fun and perfect for party girls who enjoy dancing the night away! What's even better is that many of these pieces could be worn year-round with the adding or subtracting of layers. Though the Leutton Postle A/W 2013 collection isn't necessarily reflective of my own personal style, I really enjoyed the presentation and the clothes are not only a lot of fun, but beautifully made!
