Right Now - White NYFW, Red Lips & Bluegrass

  1. Unless you live in a bubble, you probably already know that New York Fashion Week is in full swing, kicking off Fashion Month... And as if that weren't enough, it's snowing like crazy in NYC!
  2. #Stylechat has become something I look forward to every week. Hosted by Stylecaster on Twitter, it's a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about style or fashion, talk to other like-minded fashionistas and share your likes & dislikes. It's great fun so why not join in the conversation? It's every Wednesday 8pm London time/ 3pm Eastern Standard time.
  3. I had the opportunity to attend a launch event for the Anna Lou of London Spring collection - all I can say is fabulous! Fellow blogger Olivia Purvis of What Olivia Did is the face of the new collection. Check out the lookbook here!
  1. I'm obsessed with red lips right now. Currently overusing NARS Red Lizard like a junkie... It's perfect and lasts all night without reapplying!
  2. Mark Hill Big Night Out Shampoo is a life-saver! This clear and I mean see-through clear shampoo is all about getting your hair ready to be styled by removing build-up and not leaving any behind. My hair has never felt so clean!
  1. I've long been intrigued by the idea of gluten-free rice and/or corn pasta. I mean, I like rice and I like corn, so this has to work, right? RIGHT! I picked up the Sainsbury's Free From Fusilli because it's literally outside my door... It's so good and I honestly can't tell the different between rice & corn pasta and regular pasta.
  1. On Monday night I saw Old Crow Medicine Show live for the first time - the concert was AMAZING! I'm such a fan girl now and I highly recommend checking them out if you ever get a chance! It's definitely worth checking out their dates on the Mumford & Sons Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers along with all the other amazing bands that play these dates!
  2. I'm not one to turn down an art exhibit and I'm glad I jumped on the opportunity to see the Manet Exhibit at the Royal Academy of Arts. If you get the chance to check it out, it's definitely worth seeing and it runs until April 14, 2013.
  3. This week I discovered and met some of the members of CC Smugglers - not only are they the nicest fellas, they are immensely talented! They are currently on a busking tour and actually performed on stage with Old Crow Medicine Show. Check out the CC Smugglers Facebook page for information on the documentary about them!
As usual, here's the Weekly Tune-up with new songs added, this time featuring Old Crow Medicine Show & CC Smugglers... I'm obviously feeling a little bit country this week! Have a great weekend!
