Concoction Hair Products at Selfridges

Selfridges is now stocking Concoction, a haircare line inspired by cocktail mixology that let's you call the shots when it comes to addressing your own personal hair issues and was kind enough to send over some samples for me to try. So far I'm loving it!

Here's how it works:

Step 1: Choose a fragrance of shampoo. I've been using the Black Pepper & Citrus and can definitely recommend it, especially if you're looking for something different. It smells lovely, but packs the heat of the pepper which is invigorating, similar to a tea tree oil or peppermint shampoo, but different.

Step 2: Choose your shots. To make the concoction, two shots are needed. There are 256 total combinations available so there's a perfect mix for everyone, no matter what your haircare needs may be.

Step 3: Get your mixology on! Pour the 2 shots into the shampoo bottle and shake for 1 minute. Use as you would any other shampoo and finish with Concoction Cashmere + White Lily Conditioner, which leaves hair soft and smelling gorgeous all day!

The two shots I've been using in my Concoction are Back to Your Roots and Gimme More Moisture.

I'm definitely a fan of Concoction! It's something different that's a bit fun, puts the choice in the hands of the consumer and offers a solution to the various haircare needs that differ from one person to the next. Curly, straight, blonde, brunette or whatever your hair type, you can mix up a potion that perfect for you!

Concoction is currently available at all Selfridges stores and online.

  1. What a neat product! I really like how you can customize it... wish I could check all of the scents out before buying (#Stateside problems).

    Thank you for sharing.

    1. There are only 4 scents in the shampoos... The one I had was really nice. Pretty sure you can order and have shipped internationally. Totally worth a try xx
