Fabulous Finds - Tea For Two

I love the idea of hosting a tea, though I've never actually done it before. I must admit though that I'm more interested in curating a collection of fabulous china more so than the actual tea itself. One of the things I've recently become obsessed with is the idea of mixing and matching china, but keeping the colors similar. I've seen people do this, finding different pieces in thrift stores and charity shops, but honestly that takes a lot of hunting.

I'm currently obsessed with the china at Humphreys of Henley. The blue and white colors are so beautiful and I love that all the themes are relatively similar, but just different enough to make a mix-matched set interesting while still cohesive. Accessorized with yellow accents such as napkins & flowers to make the tea table pop, Humphreys of Henley china is perfect for hosting your favorite ladies  (or gentlemen) for macaroons, teacakes, cucumber sandwiches and your favorite English Breakfast tea!

Have you ever hosted a tea? What are your teatime essentials?

    1. I love them too... And I love supporting British independents. It's a win/win all around!
