GOSH Glitter Matte Finish Nail Polish in Frosted Gold

I'm not usually much one for glitter nail polish, but I loved the GOSH Glitter Matte Finish in Frosted Purple on one finger so much that I decided to give the gold a try on all my fingers. Honestly, I love this on my toes and it's really lasting. It gives me a bit of a smile every time I see my toes in yoga and they're glittering like disco balls! However on my hands I didn't love this so much. There's nothing particularly wrong with it, but I didn't think it looked as polished as a glossy finish color does. However, if you're looking for something different or festive, the color of this gold glitter is lovely and it really does sparkle. Just beware - it's not the easiest polish to remove. It was fairly easy to get it off of one finger, but removing it from all 10 is a bit of a task. You will need to soak finger nails for a little while in nail polish remover to soften it up and even then, it's not easy, but not as bad as some other glitter polishes I've tried to remove in the past.

What are your thoughts on matte glitter nail polishes? Do you love them or not so much?

  1. I love glitter nail polishes but I hate when it comes to removing it from my nails, so much work! Still, especially during the autumn and winter I buy lots of glittery nail polishes because they're so festive and fun!

I just bought that Gosh nail polish (I've lately bought all my nail polishes from Gosh, their stuff is great) and I'm loving it!

    1. It's not as difficult to remove if you layer it over another color, but just over a base coat alone made it murder to remove... However, it's proper sparkly and super pretty, so it's kinda worth it! x
