Charleston Charm

Some of my family recently located to Charleston, South Carolina so my recent trip home was the perfect excuse to explore a city I've always wanted to visit. Charleston is one of the most charming places I've ever visited, full of beautiful Southern architecture, chic independent eateries and beautiful beaches. Of course it's a city and it has it's less glamorous areas just like any other city, but if you head downtown and check out the historical part of the city, it's like a time warp to days gone by. Grab a glass of sweet tea, order a Lowcountry Boil & grits for lunch and take a walk around this gorgeous city where you can visit the market, stroll through the French Quarter or get a Civil War history lesson at the Battery. Oh, and don't forget to grab a Charleston Chew, one of my all-time favorite candy bars!
