A Healthy Makeover for Holiday Drinking at The Juicery After Dark

Riding on the coattails of the successful pop-up in the Marylebone Hotel's 108 Marylebone Bar & Restaurant, The Juicery is putting a healthy spin on holiday drinking with The Juicery After Dark! We all tend to feel guilty (and sometimes a bit ill) after indulging with such frequency during the holidays… Too many drinks, too many sweets and in general too much of everything leaves our tummies doing somersaults, our energy levels low and our weight fluctuating. While it may not be realistic to rid our diets of these little bits of holiday enjoyment, The Juicery After Dark shows that we can add healthy ingredients to our cocktails that might offset some of the bad effects of holiday beverages!

Putting a healthy twist on the Martini, the Sidecar, the Bellini and the Mojito, The Juicery After Dark is a unique experience for Londoners who enjoy themselves, but are conscious of what they eat and drink. Incorporating greens, beetroot, fresh juices and blended fruits & vegetables alongside classic holiday spirits like Gin, Cognac, Rum & Champagne, these drinks are a treat for the senses as well as the body. I am normally very shy about trying vegetables having always been a picky eater, but I tried all four cocktails and while a couple might've been a little too veggie for me personally, they were all lovely. It's actually not the worst way in the world to trick yourself into getting more veggies on a Friday night. My favorite is the Ambrose Mojito, however I recommend trying all four if it suits - they're unlike any drinks I've ever tasted.

The Juicery After Dark is serving up 4 cocktails on the 108 Marylebone menu (aptly located at 108 Marylebone Lane) in addition to the lovely food menu on offer - several dining items are also in collaboration with The Juicery. There are nibbles, sharing plates and full meals to choose from, so you can nosh on as little or as much as you like. If you're going for bar snacks, I highly recommend the Harissa Nuts - they incredibly addictive!
