Argentum la potion infinie

I love a good skin cream and I'm not one to stick to the same old thing all the time. Most recently, I've been using Argentum Apothecary la potion infinie, a cream made from 99.5% natural origins. Using Silver Hydrosol which regulates the skin through its natural anti-bacterial properties and DNA HP which promotes cell regeneration to stimulate collagen production, this cream packs a punch of hydration, restoration and anti-ageing properties. It also smells incredible!

Before applying this unique skin cream, it is recommended that you wash your face, followed by several splashes of warm water to increase circulation and relax the skin. Once applied, there is a bit of a sticky, tightening sensation, but it goes away fairly quickly. I find this is one of my favourite creams ever for wearing under make-up or sunscreen because it doesn't leave my skin feeling oily or slippery at all. Everything stays put.

Each jar of la potion infinie comes with 1 of 12 Argentum archetype cards… I received the Explorer card. The brand encourages users to "draw energy from this card, it will reflect your subconscious." It's a bit like getting a horoscope in your face cream… Fun!

I've been using this cream for a while now both in the morning and at night and I must say I really like it. It's kept my skin hydrated nicely and does everything one would expect from a luxury face cream. On chilly days, I haven't felt any dryness or tightness and on warm days it stays put, not melting off like some moisturizers do. All in all, I've been very pleased with the results and though this product comes with quite the hefty price tag, it lasts for ages and it's a real treat for your skin. We might as well splurge on our faces now and then… We've only got one and I don't know about you, but I'm happy to put off the thought of any kind of plastic surgery for as long as possible!

la potion infinie is available online via Argentum Apothecary and Net-a-Porter
