All Made Up With pHformula and GOSH Cosmetics

CC Cream ℅ pHformula / Eyelight Trio in Three of a KindXtreme MascaraGOSH

I love make-up and I love trying new products! It's one of the great pleasures of being a girl that I've always enjoyed. I still remember the giddy feeling I had as a teenager taking my torn-out page of Vogue into a shop to buy the hot new color of lipstick… That little excitement has never gone away for me and I love walking out of a shop with a tidy little bag full of treasures to help me look my best! These are a few new make-up products I've tried recently as seen in the photo above.

I'm a big fan of tinted moisturizers, BB Creams, CC Creams and the like. They're a bit lighter than foundation which I always find too heavy for my personal preferences and yet they tend to give great coverage while letting skin shine through. It's the perfect balance. pHformula CC Cream not only offers a lovely veil of coverage, but also UVA & UVB filters, Vitamin C, Retinol and SPF 30+. It's got your skin covered - literally. I find it works best to apply this over skin that's just been moisturized for easier application and I finish with a light reflecting powder and a highlighter before continuing on with the rest of my make-up.

It's no secret that I'm a fan of GOSH Cosmetics' brilliant beauty bargains, but this is the first time I've tried an eyeshadow by the brand. New for SS15, the GOSH Eyelight Trio in Three of a Kind is a lovely, neutral palette that really helps to brighten the eye area. It's perfect for days when you don't want a dramatic eye make-up look. I complemented these lovely hues with a smudge of GOSH Smokey Eye Liner in Plum to finish the look. If you don't mind a bit of sparkle, this is a lovely eyeshadow palette that glides onto the eyelids beautifully, however if shimmer isn't your thing this won't be for you.

The more I try new mascaras, the more I realize that it's not a product that requires a large spend. GOSH Xtreme Mascara has a great brush that resembles a lash comb more than the usual round bristled mascara brush, making it easier to reach individual lashes for a long, full look. Love this mascara and for just £8.49, it's a bargain to say the least!

What new make-up products are you trying for Spring this year?
