Layering With Hotsquash

Boots - Clarks / Tights - Gap / Necklace - J. Crew / Cardigan - Gap (similar) / Tank - H&M

Every year about this time, I start getting weary of my winter clothes and start thinking of ways to bust out Spring & Summer pieces without freezing to death. I recently got my hands on this adorable dress by Hotsquash and just knew I couldn't wait for the warm weather to wear it! It's a fabulous print in a flattering cut, the fabric is super comfy and it has pockets. It's basically my new favorite dress!

Layering is easier than you might think if you keep a good foundation collection of basics in a variety of classic and neutral colors at the ready. Things like tights, cardigans, basic tanks, short & long-sleeve tees and scarves can take a springy dress from warm weather wear to fabulous winter outfit with little effort. I tend to stock up on these types of basics at places like H&M, United Colors of Benetton and Gap, so they don't have to cost a fortune. For this look I chose a basic navy tank from H&M and Gap tights & cardigan in navy, but there would be so many ways to style this pretty little frock for cold weather days.

What I love about Hotsquash is how easy the pieces are to wear. They have two collections: Warm and Cool which are designed to do just what they say - they regulate your temperature. The fabrics are easy to care for, dry quickly without tumble drying and don't require ironing. Hotsquash is a busy girl's best friend!

The Print Fit and Flare Dress is my first piece by Hotsquash. It's super comfortable and the pockets are my favorite feature. It's the perfect out all day dress and I'd definitely recommend adding it to any wardrobe for making life a little bit easier! The Fit and Flare Dress is also available in a daffodil print and black.
