Fabulous High Street Make-up Finds

I've been trying out lots of new make-up products lately - some have been winners, some losers. These are a few of my favorites…

  1. I'm totally in love with GOSH Cosmetics Eyelight Trio in Chunky Chocolate. These little trios are great for updating your eye colors without breaking the bank. One thing to remember… They are super powdery so be careful not to get a lot of dust below the eyes while applying. I find it helps to blow on your eyeshadow brush before applying to get rid of any loose dust. That said, this product is great value for money and small enough to throw in your handbag or suitcase. I also use an eyeliner brush to apply one of the darker colors on the top & bottom lash lines in lieu of eyeliner.
  2. Whether hitting the slopes, living in drizzly cloudy London or having some fun in the sun, I'm as careful as I can be about sunblock for both my skin and my lips. Lanolips Lip Ointment With Color SPF15 in Rhubarb wears like a pretty pink lipgloss, but soothes dry, cracked lips, moisturizes and protects from the sun. I'm keeping this on my person at all times these days.
  3. The more I try mascaras, the more I find that few are worth mentioning… They're either all the same or just terrible, but hardly anything stands out. I heard great things about Max Factor Masterpiece Transform, so I popped to my nearest Boots and picked one up… It lives up to its good reputation. It's all about the brush, which makes separating lashes and avoiding clumps an absolute breeze. Even after applying 2 or 3 coats, there's no clumping. Love this mascara!

Have you tried any great new make-up products lately? I'd love to hear your recommendations, so leave a comment!
