|Bake Box c/o BakeClub|
Subscription boxes are a wonderful thing... They make an excellent gift either to someone else, or to yourself and there's something really nice about having a surprise to look forward to every once in a while. Bake Box is a baking subscription box and it's perfect for anyone who loves to bake.
Each Bake Box contains recipes, specialist baking equipment and little goodies such as Rainbow Dust to use while baking. With a subscription to the Bake Box, the recipient automatically receives complimentary access to the Bake Club Live website where there are masterclass videos, bonus recipes and ideas for new creations using the kit from the boxes.
For someone who's trying to build up a collection of baking kit, a newlywed who loves making cookies and cakes or anyone who loves to cook, this is the perfect gift. The recipient can use the recipes in the box or simply use the kit to make something else... The options are endless.
I received a sample box to try out and I couldn't believe how fab it was! Inside was a mold for making a homemade gingerbread house, cookie cutters, a snowflake mold, a multi-shape candy mold, 2 gel icing colors in red & green for Christmas, silver Rainbow Dust and a recipe for a gingerbread house. It's excellent value for less than £15 per box and such a treat to anyone who enjoys updating their kitchen stock from time to time.
Though I cook and bake all the time, I'm not the biggest fan of making cut-out cookies... Too much mess for my liking, however I look forward to making some other crafts with these fabulous cookie cutters.
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make a gingerbread house this Christmas, but I do hope to use the snowflake mold for a cake or jelly mold sometime during Christmas or New Year's. It's too cute not to use!
This multi-shape candy mold is coming in handy for some chocolate gifts I've been making and I'll definitely use this for soap making in the future too!
I think the Bake Box is a wonderful idea and there are several options at various price points for how to subscribe, starting at £14.99 per box plus £2.99 postage. The boxes come out every 2 months and each one is different. It's a great way to build up a collection of recipes and for anyone who is new to baking, this would be an excellent way to get started.
