Wearing the Patch Pocket Cardigan (c/o Hotsquash) |
Occasionally a girl finds herself in need of a cardigan, even when it's hot outside. It may be that you're travelling and unsure of the forecast, sightseeing in places on your travels (like a religious institution) in a warm climate that's not keen on bare shoulders, or perhaps it's even because of a dress code at work. For whatever reason, it's great to have a cardigan that's lightweight, looks great and won't make you suffer when it's warm outside, but will provide enough protection from evening chills or the overwhelming use of air conditioning that comes with summer.
As you've probably guessed by now, I'm a bit of a fan of Hotsquash, a brand that makes chic womenswear with hidden technology to regulate your temperature whether it be hot or cold outside. The Patch Pocket Cardigan is a new favorite addition to my wardrobe. It wears like a jacket, but feels like a cardigan. There's a lovely ruching detail on the sleeves and it has pockets too! It's machine washable and low maintenance, so it's perfect for tossing into a work bag or suitcase and it pairs just as nicely with jeans as it does with a dress or a skirt. What more could you ask for from a cardigan, really?
