It's super hard to get out of a snuggly, warm bed when it's dark in the mornings, but I do love earlier, darker evenings and the sunrises we've been having in London lately make the early wake-up call struggle totally worth it. Who doesn't love a pink sky? Lately, I've been experimenting with trying something new and I think I have officially become a morning person. I've tried several different morning wake-up times from 5am to 7:30 and I have finally settled in on 6am. I find that since making this change I get more done before 9am than I used to get done before noon and I actually have time to be a normal person for an hour or maybe two before I sit down to my laptop for a day's work. I sleep better, I feel better and I'm a lot more productive. Waking up early has also helped me to establish some actual 'no work time' in the evenings to enjoy, which has made such a difference. Needless to say, with the sunsets, the efficiency, the productivity and the downtime, I now find much to my surprise that I'm officially a morning person.
What does your daily schedule look like? Would you call yourself a morning person?
