A Fun Summer Dress to Style and Wear Now

A dress that can be worn from season to season saves wardrobe space, makes life a little easier and it means you don't have to give up your favourite frock just because the weather changed. Layer that lovely dress and enjoy it for as much of the year as you can! This year I'm excited for the Drop Waist Summer Dress in Oriental Birds from the Hotsquash Cool Collection - I love the print, the frilly hemline is so fun and it's made with Clever® fabric so it packs easily without getting wrinkled, is machine-washable, quick drying, keeps you cool & fresh all day and is incredibly low maintenance. It's hard not to love a dress that offers so much, but this one is also super cute, under £100 and perfect for layering. I'm styling this frilly little number right now with on-trend fishnet tights by Jonathan Aston and a cropped olive jacket that picks up some of the green hues in the print. A cardigan, tights, leggings or even skinny jeans could make this summer dress a little warmer when it's chilly, but they're also fun ways to make it look new with every wear or to style it as part of a capsule wardrobe when you're traveling.
