For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to pink and purple. Together or separately, they are colours that I absolutely love. I remember being about 4 years old in pre-school when my teacher said to paint with our favourite colours and I painted a giant blob of pink and purple, which I had to figure out how to make myself using red & white for the pink, and blue & red for the purple... By the time I was planning my wedding, nothing had changed. I had a pink and purple wedding too and while it sounds a bit Barbie, bright fuchsia with a deep, dark aubergine purple was gorgeous and a decision I still don't regret 10 years later, which feels like a win. Now I'm finding myself drawn to more muted shades of lavender and lilac for the first time ever and I love how they mix with every shade of pink. Such a fun colour combo to wear and a fun way to perk up dreary, cold London days. A touch of brown and leopard print brings it all back down to earth and I can tell I'm going to be wearing these colours together time after time.
