What I've Been Buying Recently at Anthropologie

What I've Been Buying Recently at Anthropologie

It all started with some wine glasses I saw online and ordered, but little by little I've been splurging a bit on some goodies from Anthropologie lately. This isn't an ad or sponsored in any way. I've never worked with Anthropologie, I just really love the shop. Here's a round-up of the goodies I've bought from Anthro recently...

1. Verona Pom Pom Cardigan
This gorgeous, long cardigan is in the sale for an absolute steal and it's perfect for drinks and dinners al fresco, which is all we're allowed for the moment and they're likely to continue occasionally into May and beyond with capacity restrictions in restaurants and pubs until the pandemic is over. The Verona Pom Pom Cardigan is so soft and a gorgeous weight. So far I'm wearing it around the flat, but also when it's too warm for a coat, but too cold to go without one. I love the camel colour, but it's also available here in grey.

I'm not the biggest fan of stemless wine glasses, but I bought these to use for water, cocktails and the occasional whisky and they're absolutely perfect. They are weighty, thick and of a really substantial quality, which I love. Even though they're painted, the paint is inside the glass, so there's no worrying about it chipping off over time. I just adore these glasses and I love the colour they add to my dinner table. I'd absolutely pair these with the matching wine glasses (see below) use them on their own just for drinks or match them with different wine glasses for water. I love them!

Originally I just ordered two Thandie Painted Wine Glasses as a way to switch up our dinner table for lockdown date nights - just a little treat to make things slightly different when we had no choice but to stay home for everything. A few days later I ordered several more to make a full set. They're not only beautiful, they're the perfect shape for both red and white wine and they're sturdy. I can't wait until the day when I can invite my girlfriends over and serve them a glass of wine in these beauties!

I wanted a prettier apron so I wouldn't feel so shabby in the kitchen, but also I found myself dreaming about an apron so beautiful that I would look forward to showing it off when I'm finally able to entertain at home again... I couldn't think of a better place to start than Anthropologie and I found this gorgeous floral number that I've been using non-stop. It's too pretty!

I wasn't looking for an umbrella, but none-the-less the Fulton Leopard Print Umbrella found me. I have a thing for leopard print and I kept going back to look at this one time and again, but never pushed the button because I didn't think I needed it. Luckily my girlfriends reminded me that I won't be able to sit inside at any restaurant or pub for at least a month and that a solid, sturdy umbrella wasn't only a good investment, but a necessity. They were right and the enabling worked. Honestly, it's a gorgeous umbrella I know I will use for years if I don't lose it and I feel super chic now when it rains.

If you've never had a spoon rest for your kitchen from Anthropologie, you're missing out. They're not only beautiful, they're very functional too. I have two now and I stack them on top of each other nicely the counter top for storage. While I'm cooking, I never have a problem resting all my spoons when there are a lot of pots on the go.

This is my favourite rubber spatula that I've ever owned. The wooden handle is perfect and not only does it do what I want it to, it's also like it's only little bit of colourful kitchen decor. Unfortunately this one is now sold out online, but the Bistro Tile one is available here and it comes with an Eiffel Tower cookie cutter - so cute!

I ordered this on a whim because it was on sale and it's now my favourite sweatshirt. I have always loved this open back style, but this one is so elevated that I'd wear it with sweats or with jeans. I'd wear it to the gym or at home, but I wouldn't feel awkward about wearing it to work. It's beautiful. It's the perfect, versatile new addition to my wardrobe.
